A CAMPAIGN TO COMBAT CALIFORNIA’S WATER CRISIS
The Water Effect is a campaign run by The Ecology Center of Southern California. It is an initiative aimed at teens, set up to highlight the severe drought that Californa faces currently. Through the Campaign, The Ecology Center gives sustainable solutions and initiates actions to combat the situation.
We created a cross-platform branding solution to encourage teens to 'JOIN THE MOVEMENT!'. Through teaming up with surf brand Hurley and pro surfer Rob Machado an installation was created at the 2015 Hurley Pro. Attendees could pledge and register to be a part of the solution. Rob Machado starred in a short clip which was played at the event to encourage kids to use recyclable water bottles. We also created a Splash page where you can pledge to JOIN THE MOVEMENT!
